Filming for Tuesday (If all goes to plan?)

Shooting in London Tomorrow
Tomorrow we are possibly thinking of filming as the weather is cloudy and sunny with no rain. The sun will rise at 8.03am in London and set at 3.53pm. So this would give us plenty of time to be there, film and go home for Max and Me to go to work.

As it is also coming up to christmas it would be the perfect time to shot as there will be busy crowds for us to focus on our character from a busy crowd.

Also, we will be bringing with us the printed documents which are stated on the London Borough Councils website about filming in London as well as all the equipment we will need for the day. I will also be filming on a little camera the set of us filming the scenes.

13/12/2011 - Tuesday Discussions

In Tuesdays lesson, we discussed the key things we need to complete to make sure we are ready to film over the Christmas holidays. We wrote a list of things we know needed to be done before we brake up.

Still to do is:
- call sheet
- Shot list
- risk assessment
- permissions

These are the main things however, there are other things such as light design test, weather check (probably three days before) and images of research and planning.

Asset list

These are a list of things we will need for our opening sequence:

Props

- map
- pins (to stick into the map to pinpoint locations)
- photograph (like a sneaky photograph of a person without them knowing)
- records (of the criminal)
- table (for the interrogation scene)
- chairs ( x2 as there needs to be seats for both detective and witness)

Equipment

- camera (making sure its fully charged before London shots)
- charger (for our interrogation scene we shall check for plug sockets so easy to charge but our London scene we shall make sure the camera is fully charged)
- raincover/umbrella (incase it rains)
- tapes

- camera bag (to protect the camera)

These are photos of the actors we will need for our opening of our thriller. We need two people to take part in our thriller however the casting could change depending on the circumstances. Recce

This shot would be our establishing shot.

These photos were taken in Picadilly Circus where we find one of our characters in. We get drawn into London by a map which is in the office of the Detectives. The scene keeps going in and out of London as we find our character wondering around busy crowds of people but we are not certain why they are there.

Weather wise it would be ideal if the weather was dry, cloudy as it would save us worrying about the equipment getting wet. However, if it rained, this would make a good effect to our opening.

With the background noise with being in London, it would not effect how our opening is as it would add effect to where we are in the busy town.

after pitching different ideas (such as me, nicole and Ashleigh came up with the idea of calling our company 'Closed Door Film Production' once we had decided on this name we begin to write up sketches on how the animation for the logo could work, what color the animation would be, what font the animation would be below are these sketches of these different animation ideas and how they would 'flow' and how relevant to the film company they are.
