Remaking "Parity"

Me, Max and Nicole had to remake the opening to "Parity". Last time we had to remake an opening, we took longer then we needed to and we didn't complete the task. This time, we made sure we stuck to a schedule and a deadline and completed within the week and was able to edit it.

We decide to use 9 shots from the clip to help us with filming the angles for this clip. We also used my phone and recorded the sequences so that we could get an accurate shot for shot, exact replica of the opening.
This worked really well as we didn't need to worry about missing any details within the sequence. This helped us with getting camera angles/shots correct, 180 degree rule and really think of what we were doing.

Some problems we did find was that the "blood" we used would not come of the wall. We tested a small bit and it only smudge so we had to changed him cleaning the "blood" of the wall to him cleaning it off the sink. We positioned the dead body and the blood stain on the sink well so it had good continuity.

Some of the shots were a little rushed as we had form and lessons to go to and didn't get time to re-film it.
