Working with cameras ....

Today, we began by doing a mini quiz on our previous homework. From there, we looked at different techniques when filming our scenes. The 3 different techniques we learnt today were:

1. Match On Action
2. 180 Degree Rule
3. Shot Reverse Shot

I have posted already what these are and examples of them. We were then shown a scene from the film "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels". 

From the scene we were shown we had to cut the whole clip into 9 screen shots and to recreate using our 9 screen shots to create a scene using the techniques we have used as well as previous knowledge. i.e angles. 

In small groups of 4, we had about 15-25mins to work on this piece and then to use the editing program, Final Cut, to piece the scene properly together.
